Hi, I’m Kate, a mother of 3 little girls with one more on the way. I’m married to Patrick, a GA Tech alum and mechanical engineer, who I credit with any and all woodworking projects that you see on my blog. If a power tool was involved, chances are he had a major part in the project and went along with yet another one of his wife’s ideas.
In my former life, I was and still am a registered nurse but about 3 years ago, I traded all of that in to stay at home with my girls and be a full time mama. Some of my random loves include comfort food, southern soirees, home improvement projects on our 50 year old home and sweet outfits for my girls.
At the encouragement of one of my best friends, I started this blog as a creative outlet to help take my mind off being “mom” 24/7 and to chronicle some of the happenings in our day to day life. Hopefully, you’ll find a recipe you like or glean some inspiration from one of our projects to make your life a little easier.
